Many Firsts

Meilin loves the swing now. Last week she hated it and cried. She is also getting use to walking in the grass. She looks like a drunken sailor but she is getting the hang of walking on different textures.

There is so much love in our house. Kailei enjoys bringing Meilin into her bed in the morning. They play and snuggle, so sweet. Of course Meilin continues to love her Fenway!

Kailei has never been so clean. Since Meilin has been home she ALWAYS wants to go in the tub with her. Well...her good friend Anna was over and they had been swimming in the cold pool and decided that a warm bath would be delightful. A good time was had by all!

Meilin and Her Puppy

Meilin ADORES Fenway!!! She follows him everywhere and she can often be seen snuggling with him., petting him and saying, "AHHHH!" Kailei tolerates the dog and says she loves him but she does not pay too much attention to him. She has been that way since day one. Meilin on the other hand is my animal lover!! It is hard to get a picture of the two of them together because they both move quickly!

Nightie Night

The girls were given these nightgowns by my friend Jo. Although it has been too cold for Meilin to wear hers to bed I couldn't resist a photo session! Thank you Jo! Kailei loves that it twirls when she spins!

Back in the USA

Meilin is slowly adjusting to the new time zone and her life in America. She doesn't mind her carseat of being in the car. She usually falls asleep. Monday she had her first doctor's appointment. The poor thing received 5 shots and was up in the middle of the night with a 103 degree temp. The next terrible day will be when she has to have blood drawn. I am nervous to get this done since after the doctor's appointment she became very clingy again. I don't want to jeopardize our attachment but I also know that the tests must be done. Kailei is back in school and sleeping through the night once again. Being at school and with her friends has been good for her.Meilin is still waking up from 1-3 a.m. so I am tired! I rock her and I don't turn on any lights. She would like to get up and play but that is not happening. Meilin is an observer. She takes everything in to make sure that it is safe and then she dives in. We are hoping it warms up soon so that we can use the pool. She LOVES the water.

We're Home
